The 2019 Master Builders Association Great Southern Building Awards have received 45 entries across a number of challenging categories and judging has now been completed.
The awards will be presented to the worthy winners at Lime 303 in Albany on September 14.
Winners will be considered for next year’s statewide housing and construction awards.
Regional awards judge Charlie Baggetta said the range and quality of building work in the area was impressive.
The judges assessed houses valued from under $200,000 to $1.5-million and commercial projects ranging from $1m to $3m.
The total value of projects entered in the awards came to almost $59m.
The best of which go on to the State awards to compete for the best regional project in commercial and residential categories.
Builders from Katanning to Denmark and in between have produced outstanding examples of building by exceptional tradespeople.
Master Builders Great Southern regional manager Linda Gibbs said building excellence could only be achieved by a skilled team working at peak performance, as will be shown by the variety of awards which went to the winning commercial and residential projects.
The next edition of The Voice will showcase the winners from our two regions.
