THE driver of a milk tanker which ran off the Denmark-Mount Barker road on October 15 suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Perth.
The accident occurred just before 9am.
The entire road from Muirs highway to Denmark was closed while police inspected the scene and the vehicle was recovered and towed away.
The tanker was travelling empty.
Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident.
As this issue of The Voice went to press the driver was understood to be recovering from his injuries.
The accident occurred only a few hundred metres from where a car rolled into a ditch three days previously, trapping its driver for four hours.
